World’s Fastest Computer(2010)

Technology is developing with each passing day and there are a number of new and amazing things that we can see around us which are of great importance. Jaguar is a super computer that was built by Cray and is known as the world’s fastest computer. This supercomputer is operated with the help of a version of Linux operating system known as Cray Linux Environment. There are hundreds of different applications that have been ported up till now for running on the Cray XT series. Jaguar has been declared the world’s powerful super computer on the TOP500 list in the June 2010.
