This interesting experiment was preformed by two researchers from Denmark’s Aarhus University. Using computer tomography scans and magnetic resonance imaging they recorded 132-hour long process of python digesting a rat.
The first image was taken an hour before the snakes’ dinner and then at 2, 16, 24, 32, 48, 72 and 132 hours after the meal.
